USDA Pays Top Dollar to Trident, High Liner in Latest Alaska Pollock Purchase
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released a purchase award description for over 1.5 million pounds of frozen Alaska pollock that will be purchased from High Liner Foods and Trident Seafoods on March 23.
In total, the USDA bought just over $5.7 million worth of frozen Alaska pollock fillets, nuggets and sticks. High Liner USA, sold over 380,000 pounds of pollock sticks for just over $1 million.
