Norway’s Directorate of Fisheries Extends Recapture Fishing After May Escapement At Lerøy
Norway’s Directorate of Fisheries has extended recapture fishing for Lerøy Midt following an escapement from the company’s Reitholmen site in Hitra earlier this month.
An estimated 14,000 fish escaped a Lerøy Midt facility on May 5. And as of May 20, the company has caught around 1,200 in its own recapture fishery.
