Historically Low Hokkaido Fall Chum Landings Leads to High Prices for Ikura, Dressed Fish
According to a Minato Shimbun report, this year's Hokkaido fall chum fishing season ended on November 30. According to the Hokkaido Fisheries Association Daily Report, the cumulative landing volume up to that point was 43,624 tons, down 18% from the previous year.
