NOAA and Louisiana Partners Hypoxic Zone in Gulf Has Decreased, Thanks to Tropical Storm Bertha

Good news from federal and state scientists who have been studying the “dead zone” in the Gulf of America (formerly known as the Gulf of Mexico) for four decades: it’s decreased in size.
